DESCRIPTION:From the organizers: \nExperience the newest poetry collections from Sophie Cabot Black and Marie Howe through poems that capture visions of the pastoral and glimpses of the quotidian. In Cabot Black’s Geometry of the Restless Herd (Copper Canyon\, 2024)\, poems about sheep herding examine the connection between people\, land\, animals\, and power. Howe’s New and Selected Poems (W.W. Norton\, 2024)\, collates poems from her four previous collections\, creating a sweeping and intimate portrait of her body of work.
