From the organizer of Wild and Precious Life Series\, Dustin Brookshire:  \nSipping a beverage at your local coffee shop. Eating a slice a pizza at your favorite pizzeria. Happy hour with friends. Going to the gym. Reading poetry in the park. Sitting in the audience of a poetry reading. High-fives. Handshakes. Hugs. COVID-19 has drastically changed how we live our lives\, forcing us to forego what was second nature. In these uncertain times\, the words of Mary Oliver demand that we answer the question: \nTell me\, what is it you plan to do\nwith your one wild and precious life?\n– “The Summer Day” \nPoetry comforts\, inspires\, heals\, is a catalyst for change\, and so much more. Now\, maybe more than ever\, poets need a space to share their art\, and poetry lovers need a space to receive the poet’s art.
