Hsieh Ling-yun

Hsieh Ling-yun (385-433) was born to one of the most prominent families in southern China. He became the duke of K'ang-lo, and one of the most influential poets in Chinese history, bringing Buddhist practice and insight to classical "nature poetry" (a term he would undoubtedly dislike).
