Travis Nichols is the author of two novels, Off We Go Into the Wild Blue Yonder and The More You Ignore Me, as well as two poetry collections, Iowa and See Me Improving. A graduate of the University of Georgia and the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, he has worked as a film projectionist, bookseller, dishwasher, teacher, estate sales consultant, movie critic, and journalist. He once traveled around the country on the Wave Books Poetry Bus Tour, reading with hundreds of poets to audiences at over fifty different venues, including bars, bookstores, cafes, museums, the Space Needle, and a meteor crater. He currently lives in Georgia and is the media director for Greenpeace USA.
