Desk & Exam Copies

Copper Canyon Press offers a desk and exam copy program to educators interested in teaching Copper Canyon titles in their classrooms, workshops, organizations, and other educational spaces.

We are proud to have a long-standing Desk + Exam Copy Program that provides free and discounted copies of our books to educators. We will do our best to provide educators with the materials they need and we will reach out to you if any issues arise with your request. Please expect 2-3 weeks for your books to arrive. Thank you, as always, for bringing Copper Canyon poetry to your students!

Exam copies of books under consideration for a course are $5 each for paperback, and 50% off list price each for hardcover. After you fill out the form below, we will email you a link for secure online payment.
Desk copies of books already adopted for a specific course are free.
If you are requesting 5 or more Desk / Exam copies, we will reach out to you directly for further verification of your intended educational course.

If you are wanting to request a book from our Desk / Exam Copy Program and do not live within the United States, please email us at poetry@coppercanyonpress.org.

For forthcoming book titles, we will not be able to send you a copy of the book before the official publication date of the book. Forthcoming titles will take more than 2-3 weeks if your request is placed before the book’s publication date.
