Join Rebecca Solnit, Jamie Harrison, and author of Jim Harrison’s forthcoming biography, Todd Goddard, for a free livestream event in support of the forthcoming reissue of Jim’s beautiful book The Theory and Practice of Rivers. Hosted by Joseph Bednarik, this 70-minute event will feature stories, poems, musings on rivers, thoughts from Rebecca on her introduction to the book, and (with luck!) audio recordings—retrieved from archival tapes—of Jim reading from the long poem “Theory and Practice of Rivers.” Throughout the evening you will be given the opportunity to make your gift in support of the final phase of “The Heart’s Work: Jim Harrison’s Poetic Legacy.” Join us!
