The Majestic is the only queer bar in Western Massachusetts. We were open for six months before the COVID-19 outbreak closed our doors and now we are facing the real possibility of that closure becoming permanent. It is our conviction that queer & trans bars and spaces are sexy, important, beautiful, and necessary, and in this rapidly evolving world we want to see spaces like ours continue to exist. Majestic was created by and for queer community and we are leaning of the resiliency of this community as we move forward. This benefit will help cover operating costs of the bar as we look for both immediate and long term paths into the future. We thank you for your support.

While this is a benefit for The Majestic, it is also a gathering of community around queer art and a belief in queer futures. As such, it is not our wish to turn anyone away if cost is prohibitive. If this is the case, send an email to majesticnoho@gmail.com with the subject line “Reading Access” and we will send you the information needed to access the event with no questions asked.

To minimize any interruptions during the reading, we will have several moderators moving through the pages of the call and prepared to remove anybody who attempts to disrupt the event.
