Ben Lerner

Originally from Topeka, Kansas, Ben Lerner holds a BA in Political Theory and an MFA in Creative Writing from Brown University. He was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to Spain in 2003–04, and a 2010–11 Howard Foundation Fellowship. In 2011 he became the first American to win the Preis der Stadt Münster für Internationale Poesie. He is poetry editor at Critical Quarterly and teaches in the writing program at Brooklyn College.
